What is The DC Green Connection?
The DC Green Connection’s mission is to grow the green economy locally and promote sustainable living widely through fun and informative networking events, green business guides and promotions, online media and social marketing.
How do we do that?
- We host monthly speaker events and receptions on sustainable living, green tips, and local topics
- We offer sustainability consultations and “Going Green 101” presentations to local businesses, bars and restaurants
- We can help YOU green YOUR next event
- We can refer you to local green businesses and service providers
- Eventually, we will post a directory of local green businesses in DC
Our immediate goal is to connect the DC consumer base to the growing network of green businesses and service providers in the DC metro area. By mobilizing consumer power toward the greater good, we can shift markets toward the triple bottom line--economic, ecological and social sustainability!
